1955

Founder Yoshiaki Kawai began production of processed wafers in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo.

1959

Yuraku Confectionery Co., Ltd is established and begins producing chocolate products.

1962

First and second factories in Kodaira, Tokyo are completed.

1963

Osaka Sales Office opened.

1966

Third Kodaira Factory completed.

1973

Sapporo Sales Office opened.
Production of nougat products begins in Kodaira factory.

1976

Production of pretzel products begins in Kodaira factory.

1979

Toyohashi factory completed.
Production of potato sticks begins.
