Efforts to Ensure Safety and Peace of Mind
For Safety and Peace of Mind
At Yuraku Confectionery, our products are manufactured under the quality slogan “Snacks we’re proud of, quality we’re pleased with.”
Taking Black Thunder as an example, our commitment to achieving that satisfying crunch involves taking samples every five minutes from the start of production and conducting packaging inspections.
Furthermore, we print the best-before date not only on the outer packaging, but also on each individual wrapper for Black Thunder Mini Bars. This means you can check the best-before date with confidence even after discarding the outer packaging.
Maintaining Quality Through Strict Inspection
Regular quality patrols are conducted on production lines. Only products that pass over 100 detailed inspection items as defined by Yuraku Quality* are sent out.

the international standard for
food safety management systems.
Handling Food Allergies
When manufacturing products that do not contain specific allergens following products that do contain them, we conduct allergy testing on every batch.
We indicate the usage of allergens (specified ingredients and those equivalent to them) on the packaging.
Additionally, we provide the same labeling on each individually wrapped piece of family-size products to help prevent accidental ingestion or consumption.
Using raw materials with assured quality and safety
To ensure quality of the materials, we conduct inspections of our production facilities. For ingredients sourced from overseas, we perform on-site inspections abroad.
We have established a system to deliver only snacks we can provide with confidence.

All opinions and requests received by our Customer Service Department are communicated to our factories and relevant departments in order to improve quality and develop new products.

To establish, maintain, and sustain a safe and healthy workplace environment, we have obtained certification for this international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, alongside FSSC 22000 at our Toyohashi Yume Factory and Sapporo Factory.
